Hello, I have a Savage Precision Carbine in 308. It has a 20" barrel and a 1 in 10 twist. I plan on using 168 grain Nosler BT's to hunt whitetails with this year. Have any of you used these for hunting before? If so, do you have any good load data? I have on hand Varget, CFE 223, Ramshot TAC, and H335. Thanks for all your help.

I've not used the 168's, but I have used the 180s on elk to good effect. Shot placement is everything. I did have a couple totally come apart, but still killed the elk cleanly. I have since switched to Sierra Game Kings which work great on everything up to elk.

Yeap 44 varget in LC brass. Made some for a friend of mine and he killed a pretty good sized pig with it no problem.
