speer tnt bullets

ok, so i saw a box of theses at the gunshow here this weekend and figured id give them a try. i have a rem 700 in .223 wylde. its a 1:8 twist. the box i bought was 50gr. so my question is, has anybody cranked these out of a 1:8 twist barrel and if so, what was your recipe? im a little worried these things will fly apart after leaving the barrel if i load them a little hot. any advise on these pills would be great. thanks

I have shot them out of an 8 twist .22BR with no issues. Unless you have a very rough bore, you should be GTG.

if you dont mind sharing, what was your load data? should these things be loaded on the softer side or should i load them hotter? the bore in my rifles fine. its a brand new barrel and was broken in properly.

I tried some 87gr. TNT's in a 25'06Ackley once. I still have about 80 of them somewhere, if you get my drift? BB

Love them in my 222 Rem., very accurate.,,Use them also in my Rock River with 26.5 W748. Just ordered my 2nd 1k box, a friend that shoots AR15 exclusively uses Speer 50 gr TNT, he is on his 4th 1k box for Prairie dogs, exceptional accuracy for a production bullet from Speer in his AR's
