WhiskeyWebber- thanks for your support. I know the Atlas is slower to deploy but what about after that, is it faster to engage the target?
We plan to do a comp bipod with highspeed features after the %-H is finished. </div></div>
Absolutely, it is faster to engage a target once it is deployed. The gimbal design facilitates the ability to scan left to right, right to left, and corner to corner quickly and smoothly and is invaluable in a stage where you are covering a large radius to service the targets. With my Harris, you get the bipod legs chattering when you try to swing from target to target if you are swinging more than say 3-5deg. This shows up big on movers too...the Atlas really shows it's legs on movers. I went from missing to hitting when I tried movers with the Atlas. The Atlas allows you to pick either an ambush shot or to match the lead in a smooth arc either way.
I'd be in for trying the comp bipod once it comes out.
