Granted, a new press out of the box shouldn't require parts replacement soon after setting it up, but a responsive customer service department makes up for it in my opinion. I recently purchased a LnL AP and had a couple of small complaints about the stock priming control wire. In response, Hornady immediately sent me out an updated version which is meant to break away if you aren't paying close attention. I have also been having a couple of small problems ejecting .223 from the press and called them about it today. They almost immediately offered me a new one and sent me a confirmation email within minutes. Service like this makes a new reloader like myself want to look to them when I have future purchases. Sorry if this seems like a rant, but I figured it would be nice to post something positive as opposed to much of the griping I see around.

Re: Hornady C.S.

I lost the small primer seater for the hornady hand primer (completely my fault), called them up to order a new one and they said ok its in the mail, just like that no charge. Great cs from them for sure.

Re: Hornady C.S.

Good CS for me. I've always talked to a person in a reasonable amount of time and they have been helpfull.

Re: Hornady C.S.

Couple times I have called them for various parts for my LNL AP, or Dies, they have been Fantastic... I have no problem recommending Hornady because of their awesome CS.

Re: Hornady C.S.

Hornady CS is terrific. A dial caliper I ordered was .050 out of spec. I called them up and they sent out a new one. When the new one arrived it was metric. Hornady then paid for UPS to pick up the metric one at my house and then sent me the correct one. The phone rep. kept apologizing and said he would do all he could to make everything better. Now I mostly buy Hornady stuff because I know I can count on them.

Almost the same with me! I bought my press/gear second hand but the small primer feeder was missing so I emailed CS and asked for a part #. Within 24 hours I had a email saying to call CS and that the style of hand primer had change but they would gladly exchange my old one for a new one free of charge.

As a new reloader hornady has already made a hell of an impression on me and will be getting more of my business in the future!!!!

Thanks Hornady

Re: Hornady C.S.

I thought their CS was kinda bad. I bought their .308 dies, which, unknown to me, ship with a unversal seater which is evidently designed for round nosed bullets, and when it damaged Hornady hunting and match bullets contacted them, they were very short and told me I had to buy a different stem for the die. I think that's crap, I've used RCBS dies without having to buy more parts. If its neccesary for as standard of a bullet as the Interlock it should ship with it, or be mentioned that the seater is not suitable for other than round nosed projectiles. Since they chose not to I feel they should send the stem free of charge when there's a complaint, it is a cheap part, but that goes both ways, and its majorly inconvenient, and its probably messed up a few projectiles by the time you know its not right. I should've returned the set I guess, I sure like them otherwise, kinda a shame, has swayed me away from the brand.

Re: Hornady C.S.

recently emailed them about my powder dispenser and they are goin to repair or replace it. Out of warranty. while waiting for That to come back i broke my lnl ap. Emailed the list of the parts i broke to them along with an explanation as to how I broke it and they are sendind me all the parts for free

Re: Hornady C.S.

I have had the same kind of service from Lee and RCBS. Also Ruger and Sig. Smith and Wesson not so much.
I don't have much from Hornady, but it is good to hear that if it breaks, they'll take care of me.
