Both are good cartridge designs but each has it's own advantages and disadvantages. Like was posted before do a search and read the numerous other threads on the topic. Then draw your own conclusions.

The 338 Norma case is a little shorter which gives you a little more play with bullet seating.

ur smith sellin you crack.

go 338lm and get seekins bottom metal which allows longer oal.

have him throat it with a little more FB and seat bullets longer.

LM components also easier to find.

You can buy factory (and quasi-factory like Southwest Ammo) match ammo in 338 LM - not sure about the Norma. May be a factor depending on your reloading situation.
