I recently bought a Whiskey Tango chassis equipt used gun that takes AI mags.
Which other options are there for magazines?
PS
Its a 260 so 308 mags

Re: Whiskey Tango chassis which mag

I suggest AI Magazines.

There are several others out there, but many require fitting or monkeying around with to get to run 100%.

If you are talking about a Whiskey-3 Chassis, then all I have ever run in ours is AI magazines.

Re: Whiskey Tango chassis which mag

I don't know of any AI compatible mags that are more than 10 round capacity. Although if you aren't paying attention you can cram more than ten in an AI magazine (don't do it).

Re: Whiskey Tango chassis which mag

I run both AI and C-products, both work 100%. The C-products had a slight rough edge that would scrape the brass that I had to fix, but it still worked.

If you want to load longer, alpha type 2s will let you load out to 2.985" and are AICS compatible. They run great in my Badger mini chassis. You may have to find a smith to modify the feed ramps to allow smooth feeding but that's very simple and cheap.

Re: Whiskey Tango chassis which mag

I have 6 AI mags for my KRG. They all work 100%. Haven't tried the Alpha mags and can't come up with a good reason to do so.

Re: Whiskey Tango chassis which mag

Check with Mcrees Precision. They make/sell AICS mags without the inside
spacer so you can load to a longer length, both 5 and 10 rounds mags.
Other than that go with the Alpha type 2, which are 10 rounds and shorter than the AICS.
