NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

What is the weight of the rifle in the 1st photo without the bipod?

Thanks,
Trilogymac

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Appears you can get the scope a tad lower than the standard front end?

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Looks like a winner to me.

Might have to get on order for at least one.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Any Word on making one of these for a Tikka T3 Rifle? I've got a Tikka T3 Scout .223 that'll look Great in one of these! Very Interested, please let me know, Thanks!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

is there an ability for picatinny rails to be added for the QD rail mount?

i'm assuming there is a picatinny rail on the underside for the bipod

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

This is an awesome looking stock. I want one for my Savage 10fp. When is it available for the Savage Kyle?

The Savage 10 Carbon is available to order!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Very nice. So just so I'm not missing anything, based on the weights on the websites this is 7oz lighter than the regular one. Correct?

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

And to think I was just hunting for a lightweight folding stock that feeds AI mags. I have a Rem SA barreled action that is threaded for a suppressor just waiting for a stock...

Nice work Kyle! I'll be calling as I have some more ?'s.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

that is badass and I have a 700 that could use one of those.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

That thing is awesome. I wish I could find more information about it. It's not even on their website.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Send XLR a PM, although I'm sure he will reply to your post pretty soon. As far as I know they are available.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Yes, they are available, you just have to pm him or call. I should have mine in less than a month now. Lone Wolf has his already, been looking forward to his review. He just has been busy and can't decide what rifle he putting in it.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

I think this is the best option for my savage build.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Looks like a wicked stock. Nice work.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Hey Guys, The Carbon chassis is available to order for Remington SA, LA, and Savage SA. I apologize but we still do not have this on our web site yet. Please let us know if you have any questions.

e-mail: [email protected]

Thanks, Kyle ~ XLR

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Ordered mine yesterday, now the wait begins!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

I think he knew I was going to have a sps tactical without a stock/chassis on it yet. Is the wait still looking right around 10 weeks?

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Yes, and I have waited a little longer because the rails were out from whoever makes them for him. I said I could just wait as I can't shoot it from Afghanistan anyway. I will have pics up in a month or so when I get home. It will be getting a stiller tac30 actioned, 24" m24/mtu spiral fluted 6.5 creedmoor to hold. I went with the longer forend with folding tactical stock.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Damn! I just ran across this after I've got an order in for a standard XLR. Kyle, when do you think you could get this inletted for a 1.6" TAC 408 Stiller? This thing is beautiful!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

current version, or must they be add at the time
of the order ...

ways for me to spend money :)

BTW GREAT system !!!!!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Really like that octagonal forearm vs the cylinder. Sent you a PM asking more about this.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Right now the Carbon chassis is available for the Remington 700 SA, Remington 700 LA, and Savage Short. We do not have any current plans on offering any more inlets for the Carbon due to the programming/production time.

Thanks, Kyle ~ XLR

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

How does the weight of 3lb12oz compare to the regular aluminum version with the tac butt stock?

I notice the chassis itself is skeletonized, too, in the original picture, which is great. Is that still accurate - I'm not seeing pics of it on the site is why I'm asking.

15.5 forend still available?

Is the recoil lug area of the chassis on the carbon setup really slimmer than the all aluminum version, like it appears to be?
ETA: Or is the Lancer forend larger in OD than the normal aluminum?

Email sent, XLR.

Any more images of the carbon chassis in use?

Not sure how I missed this till today.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Just ordered my 15.5" xlr carbon chassis for my 700 aac-sd on Tuesday! I'm super stoked!!!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Post pics when it shows up!

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Just keeping this one at the top for more pics...

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

So it is just the handguard that is different correct? And it is about 150 more than the full aluminum version?

Looks great. Have a new savage that I have been thinking of putting in a chasis

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

The receiver area is skeletonized, too.

Re: NEW from XLR Industries CARBON chassis

Alright! Here are some more pictures of the Carbon chassis!

The smaller rifle is a Remington 700 SA SPS tactical 20" barrel with the 12" carbon hand guard. The larger rifle is a Remington 700 LA XCR Tactical 300 WM with a 26" barrel and 15.5" carbon hand guard. The long action is also equipped with our new push button folder. It has (2) allen screws can adjust all movement out of the folder.

Enjoy!
