Shot moving targets today at 400yds with the FN SPR 20" 1:12. Load was 178gr Amax. Hornady brass, 44gr Reloader 15, and Wolf LG primers @ 2650fps. Got a group of guys today and we all shot movers at 400yds then moved back to 1K after everyong had their fill of shooting movers. Got good leads at 400yd for this load and it matches up with Mil-Dot ballistics calculations.
Walking pace of 2FPS was one MIL exact at this yardage and 7.5moa was the come up.

Buddy was also shooting his AR with a Tijicon on it, not sure what load he was shooting. Might have been stardard SS109's.

Load and rifle performed excellent today, also got a nice NRA wind flad up today.
The rifle was dead on a 37moa up and was holding off one Mil for wind.
Full Value wind at 1000yds. That flag was stiffer than Jerry Sanduskys at a junior league football game.
5 shot group at 1K out of the FN with the 178's. First two shots was high, almost shot out the spotter disc. Adjust and dropped three in to "X" ring.
2 guys are Hide Memebers along with myself.
Any other Hide members in the Pittsburgh area are welcome to come shoot. Pm me and I will get you my contact info. As you can see we shoot a large range of stuff and the more guys the more fun it is. The range is in the Beaver Falls area which is aprrox 45min west of the Burgh.
I would like to get a few more guys that like shooting long range and tactical style stuff. Movers, unknown range, you name it we will probaly shoot it.
Good group of guys to shoot with and a good knowledge base to learn from.
