My brother gave me 8 colt 45 ACP clips, I don't own a 45. So I was thinking about getting one. My question is will these clips work in other 1911 guns like the sig or kimber?

Yes, those 1911 <span style="text-decoration: line-through">clips</span> MAGAZINES will work in other single stack 1911 designs.
The ones they won't work in are the widebody high capacity ones which are much less common.

Probably, there are different sizes, government (typically 7or 8 round) will fit in officer or larger frames but not the other way. There is a difference between a clip and a magazine btw. What you have there is a magazine.

I just bought a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 so I could shoot some MiSurp ammo a friend gifted me. I then found out it would cost me almost as much to replace the ammo ($76.95) as the rifle ($114).

Just wait until you pick up some odd brass at the range and start contemplating buying some reloading dies and a gun for it...
