1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Without having to search, which I am inept at anyway, can someone tell which of the .223 supressors are rated for a 7.5" upper. I know most are 10.5", as is my G5, but my boss really wants one for his 7.5". A QD is preferable.
In general any good stainless steel can could, but check with the manufacturer to be sure.
Here's one that's specifically rated for that; http://thunderbeastarms.com/products/223a
I have a American MFG Triple X and it will hold up to a TON of abuse, however the gas tube on a 7.5" will melt if a 30 mag dump is done out of one. Yes I did do it. It will also blow a hole in the gas tube if a 100 Beta is dumped out of one @ about 80-85rds without a can on it.
