Trying to get some recommendations on match ammo for my .260. Am aware of Corbon, Black Hills, HSM, and Southwest. Have heard of the new Federal Match ammo but have not found anywhere on the web to buy it.

Would be great to hear what people are shooting, what they like, any recommendations. I know this stuff is expensive, but I'm not a reloader and am willing to spend on the right ammo.

Thanks

Thanks, think Southwest is the best deal, I'm really looking to get hide members take on consistency of various options, what people feel is best load.

Re: Best Match Ammo .260

Southwest. Buy the 7-08 for practice and any of their match stuff for...well...matches

Re: Best Match Ammo .260

Southwest is a Hide supporter and they make good ammo. Find what load your barrel likes and run with that.

Re: Best Match Ammo .260

+1 Southwest Ammo

I shoot there .308 and soon there .260 Rem

Basically unobtanium right now...

Re: Best Match Ammo .260

Shot some of the SW ammo a couple of weeks ago in my 260 and was very impressed. I just ordered 4 more boxes of there 142's today.

I would have to recommend Josh at Copper Creek

He does some great ammo and an all around good dude. Order several things from him. He always delivers as he says he will in great time.

Duh, we didn't know where this was headed. Without hard facts, all you can get is opinions.

Buy a box of each of them. Your rifle will tell you what to buy. A chrony might help but you really owe it to yourself to spend the $ and time up front.
