I am gathering parts for an AICS based Remington 700 SA build and was hoping somebody here may be able to help me locate a specific bolt assembly. A while back I found a video featuring an aftermarket controlled round feed bolt, that featured a Mauser 98/Winchester 70 style extractor. I am having trouble recalling the company that was producing these, and would like to do some research on the topic before I go any further. Would anybody here happen to remember who is/was manufacturing them?

You sure they used the monster claw in the Remy action?

McMillan did have a nice pic of their controlled push feed bolt on their site. IIRC they shave off the bottom half of the boltface. Winchester did the same with a few pre-Classic post-64 70's.

Check with Dave Kiff at PT&G - I want to say he was working on a CRF M700 compatible bolt a year or two ago. Maybe saw it in a SHOT report or something.

There is a lobo action from classic barrel and gun works that uses a claw.

Thank you for the recommendation. The Lobo sounds like a great action, but I see nothing about availability anywhere.

To top it off, I have a trued 700 receiver with no bolt in my posession currently, so I am really just shopping bolt assemblies for now.
