I had some questions to ask you guys about amending my trust because my first class III item is expected to clear within the next month and a half (hopefully).

1) If I wanted to amend my trust to either change the beneficiary or add trustees, how would I go about doing this? Do I just print up another copy of the trust and have it notarized again?

2) Once I receive my tax stamp for my first item and every subsequent one, do I follow the same process as above?

Re: question s about amending a trust

If I were you, I would call my attorney and have him ammend the trust and/or answer my questions. The cost of my trust included his services to ammend the trust for life.

Unfortunately, I don't have this option because my trust was created through willmaker using a template.

Re: question s about amending a trust

Here is a sample amendment you could use to amend it. Just fill out all the information and make whatever changes you need then get all the required signatures.

If you need to make a bunch of changes you can an amendment and restatement which basically means you retype the trust up and put all the amendments into it. Here is an example.

Whenever you get your stamp and suppressor in you just add the suppressor to your schedule A and sign it, it does not need any notary.

I also have a free trust but haven't used these to make an amendment. I just found these online and they pretty much match every amendment I have seen. Here is the site they are from which has more information about trusts

Hope this helps

Yep. Did you get yours there also? What do you have pending?

Elite Iron Bravo 1. Went pending May 1st
Silencerco Osprey 45. I sent out the forms on July 3rd, no idea when it went pending.

Tactical messed up my form 4 under section 5 of the application for the elite iron can, so it is going to get kicked back. There is nothing I can really do, but hopefully it will only add about 2 weeks onto the wait time.
