I think you may be confusing the letters of the 2 companies that you're speaking of. Unless LWRC has released another AR 308 aside from the REPR (which may indeed be the case). Don't feel bad though because I've done the same thing. So presuming that you're comparing the LMT MWS and the LWRC REPR: First off you'll be delving into the old Piston vs DI system debate. )I own and love both systems fwiw) I myself, have only limited experience with the MWS (16"CHF barrel) and the thing was a hammer, and a rather heavy hammer at that (not unlike most of its contemporaries). There are others on this board with much more experience that I with this particular platform and so I will let them chime in.
I've never had the opportunity to handle a REPR but I will say that something about that particular weapon really gets my motor running...especially the new, Spiral/fluted version. I definitely see myself owning one sometime down the road...but not right this minute.
It is worth mentioning though, that if you're on a tight(er) budget, you'll probably have a much easier time finding an affordable MWS as I frequently see them in various EE's at prices I consider a steal.

I dealt with the REPR when it first came out and own the LMT. A friend called and asked for help with the accuracy that the REPR was getting. Trying a variety of match loads, neither of us could get the rifle to shoot under about 2moa. He got rid of it and purchased the LMT with the match barrel that week. Brought that rifle out and I was able to put 5 shots just under 1/2 moa. I bought the LMT with the chrome lined barrel after this and get accuracy well under 1 moa.

Second that. Have an LMT 5.56 and it's crazy reliable. If I were looking for a factory 7.62 semi auto rifle that would be the one.

I think a lot of the negativity surrounding the REPR revolves around the "P"(recison) aspect of the rifle and expectations thereof. It seems like people who buy them expect extreme accuracy due to this "P" in the name and when they don't achieve it, they're let down. This of course is understandable. But from the feedback that I received from actual owners (I did a lot of PM'ing to those that own/shoot them for my personal research), the overwhelming response I got was that those who own them, love them dearly. True, there was a known issue concerning P-mags not working properly in the initial batch, but LWRC seems to have remedied that particular malady. And while they may not be the most accurate AR 308 of the bunch (though I've heard reports of 1/2 MOA accuracy), they do seem very robust and eat all kinds of ammo well. At least according to what's been reported to me. So as a precision rig, maybe, maybe not. But as a Battle Rifle they seem to be in the running in terms of overall performance. If only they weren't so damn pricey. Again, I must disclose that I've never handled/fired one, so take my opinion as that,...an opinion.
On the other hand, what's not to like about the MWS? It has all the boxes checked. And the fact that LMT has a history with KAC, is like the cherry on top (unless you dislike KAC)

I had an LMT, it was a great gun and very accurate. I got away from
Gas guns and sold it. If I get another AR10 it will be a REPR. It has more options like the adjustable gas block, left side charging handle, and it's a piston gun.

I'm a huge fan of the platform and the company as a whole. There are plenty of good choices these days, but the repr fit my needs most - durable, low maintenance easy to clean, eats everything, accurate and does well suppressed.

As the owner of an LMT MWS I urge you to get the LWRC REPR. I am very disappointed in my LMT MWS. Their QC has dramatically fallen off since I bought my LMT 5.56 QCB.

I own both and don't think you can go wrong with either one. With that said, if I could only have one it would without hesitation be the REPR. Chainring pretty much summed it up with " ...the repr fit my needs most - durable, low maintenance easy to clean, eats everything, accurate and does well suppressed." Love my REPR and recently doubled down. Now I'm waiting on a Form 4 on a 12inch REPR.

I've taken it out to 1000 in a training class. Hitting 16x17 plates regularly.
The LMT I can honestly say I haven't rung it out properly yet. so far though it's been very accurate.
You can't go wrong with either but I personally like the ergonomics of the REPR better.
I your going to shoot suppressed I highly recommend the piston gun.

The farthest I've shot paper is 300, and it's held MOA.
I'd say It's running very close to moa at 800. Im shooting steel at that range though and I've never got out the tape measure.
But I've gotten consistent hits on a 12" gong. I'd guess the groups are 8-10" center to center. That's out of a 20" barrel.
