Anyone do anything interesting with Kydex?

Okay so I have seen the home made knife sheaths and home made holsters. The Flashlight holders, Mag holders, etc... you get the point.

Anyone doing anything interesting and new with Kydex? If I had the money and equipment I would probably try it out and make some odd stuff to market but I don't...

Several guys making those now. I have a buddy that makes sheaths, holsters, chew can holders, and specialty tool holders for lineman.

haha I didn't believe the chew holders so I had too actually google'd it! That is some awesome stuff right there!

I saw a 30rnd AR15 mag holder, that was new. I think the Kydex stuff is neat, just wish I had the spare cash to mess with it! I am hopefully going to inherit a Springfield Armory XD in 9mm when I turn 21 and would like to get a Kydex holster!

haha noo he has some "El Cheapo BlackHAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he insisted I get him. I was going to get him some off brand name I cannot remember at this point in time, but it got really good reviews and cost a pretty penny. I wasn't aware of Kydex holsters at that time lol

While the VG2 is a good holster, it is actually injection molded plastic and not kydex.
