All the stuff I have had has been good to go. However, after reading some of his comments on forums, I doubt I will buy anything from Spikes again. There are too many alternatives that are as good or better with professional people standing behind them.

I've had no issues with the Spikes parts I've used. I understand they back their parts and rifles well, I've never needed any after sale service, and have no idea about second owners. The proprieter does act questionably on some forums at times, but if the price is right, and the quality is acceptable, I don't really care about that drama.

I have some Spike's stuff that I'm very happy with.
As for the owner, I appreciate his candor. Additionally, both he and his staff are easy to get in contact with, if necessary. Some other companies don't post phone numbers, refuse to answer the phone, take a week to return e-mail, etc.
When I ordered an upper from Spike's, I wanted a small change made that I could not address via the online ordering process. A phone call had it handled in 60 seconds.
I have some Spike's stuff that I'm very happy with.

I have had my spikes rifle for a couple years now and use it for 3gun matches. Haven't really done much to it, it runs great. Never had to use their customer service but hear its pretty good if needed. i dont get into the drama or stuff about spikes on some forums. I'll be using spikes parts and lowers in the future.

I just built a Spikes ar with all the enhanced parts, nickle boron boldt and enhaced trigger group with the spikes bar rail, its a great shooter

My Spikes Tactical Punisher lower is awesome, never had to use the customer service yet but I have heard it's top notch!

I used a stripped spikes lower and upper for my 14.5" build and customer service was great. They were able to contact my FFL for me and setup all the paperwork without any calls from my end other than ordering what I wanted. Parts are quality with no issues and the price is right. I've put just over 5K rounds through the gun now and no problems, several carbine operator and instructor classes. Zero issues. I'd buy from them again.

My only AR is a Spike's midlength and I couldn't be happier with it. Even after turning it into a frankengun long range setup it runs like a Swiss watch. Never had any failures of any kind. There are tons of companies putting together solid ARs but you cant go wrong with a ST.

Iv had a spikes m4le for two years now without any issues. Id buy from spikes again any day.

I got my wife a spikes because she liked the logo. I saw a meme on what the logo really was and it all made sense....
Anyways, fit and finish is good, they offered a lightweight barrel when most others didn't, and the SAR rails they use aren't nearly as sharp as other systems which was really good for my wife's hands. They gave me a battle trigger or something along those lines to make up for a super long delay in production and not including a buffer or something. Not the greatest trigger, can't really say there even is a difference between it and a regular AR trigger other than its chromed, but the gun has functioned reliably and reasonably accurately at a good price so I can't really complain.
