I like them and want one but...... someone was telling me the only clips you can buy are the bananna clips, is this true? how accurate are they and up to how many yards some what flat?

What weapon system are you referring to?
This is not a caliber known for accuracy or "long" range. I have never seen or heard of an accurate rifle (1/2 moa or better) in that caliber but I have seen some pretty damn lucky shots by insurgents using scoped SKS and the Al-Kadesih sniper rifle.

I am looking to put together another hog hunting gun. ThAT THE ammmo is not going to break me. I cant seem to make my mind up. only looking to get 150-200 yrds accurate with it.

Yes true indeed, also one can make some pretty mean reloads too, but typical "spam can" ammo I would avoid for hog use.

Don't forget a Rugur Mini-30 as built by Accuracy Systems. MOA accuracy with factory (US) ammunition.

Yah, I looked it over and was amazing at the complete garbage those retards have all over that website.
The Mini-14 is a vastly inferior design and everyone else in the industry knows it. It's only true market existed back when brand new AR15's were all twice the price, now you can get a brand new rifle for $4-500, so Mini-14's really have no place anymore.
They're great guns and well-liked, I started 3-gun with one, but they've been usurped by AR's in all regards.

Buy an upper, buy a M1S firing pin, buy ASC mags, load, shoot. I looked at a AK last week, but realized I could be into an 7.62x39 upper for cheaper.

i think you should get a nice SKS also . take your time and get a good one though. l have a Russian that i over paid for but man its a sex machine. l wouldn't sell it for 2 times what i paid for it. they are reliable and if you want to do the whole tacticool thing you can but i kept mine all pretty red Russian red.

i have a colt match target in 7.62x39. it has run very well on every thing i put though it. it shoots pretty well with Winchester and a little worse with tula and wolf, and this has a colt 1/12 match barrel. i just bought some lapua 7.62x39 im pretty excited to get this. i love the way my colt shoots. i collect my brass but i dont reload i wonder what kind of options there are for them in an ar platform.
