What does it matter that he was a former sniper? How is that relivant? He was also an orderly at the local hospital after his time in the USMC and much more recent than his time as a sniper. Perhaps the title should say "hospital orderly gets 15 years for shootout with Hopi police"

I wanted to beat the crap out of my ex-wife once but I figured she might wake up and get to the door before me and block my exit. Discretion is always the better part of valor. I'm still alive and well.

The question isnt weather what he did was ok.... the qestion is relivance. Is it relivant to the story that he was a USMC SNIPER?
