Whichever one wins, that company will cover their sustained damage and pay thousands for awesome advertisement but the other will just laugh at the owner and call him an idiot for trying;0 By the way... Cummins ruin Duramaxs all day.

Never owned or used a US Optics I can tell by the link above they are tough as nails and no doubt a good optic. Has one ever been shot threw and still worked properly?
I'm a NF fan so someone has to get this topic fired up lol.

Unless you plan on using your scope outside of normal conditions, I doubt you will break either one.

My thoughts every time I see a post like this . I don't think there's a civilian out there that has to have a scope this tough unless you are seriously careless when handling you weapon.

I owned both and never broke either. They are both tough and will take abuse to no end. If I had to purchase again I would buy two NF's and use the change on some more ammo.
You can't beat USO's customer service though.
If you need custom, USO is the place.
Both will make you smile like a puppy with two peters when you open the box, mount them, and then shoot them.

The only situtation I can think of where I have ever thought I might have damaged a scope was from banging it on a rock when hunting. These scopes are designed to go through war zones, so my happy ass shouldn't be breaking them. Who is really that careless with a $2k+ scope? I understand competition will reveal weaknesses, but both scopes are thoroughly proven.

US Optics is for people who have extra money but want something different.
I myself think NF is overkill, I do have 3 NF, and don't regret the purchases, but in the big picture, I can see it was just a "Gucci" type purchase.
I think for the money, nothing beats Bushnell. Bushnell does everything a NF does... Heck, Bushnell even beats NF. For $1400 you get FFP, a Horus reticle, 34mm tube, etc.

That means to me that either people are very happy with their USO's or they are getting thrown away and I doubt that is the case.

Let's see a USO scope with a bullet hole in it. Then we can compare it to NF. I think USO's are good scopes, but then they should be great scopes for the money they cost. My NF is always repeatable and very durable.
BTW, I wouldn't buy anything Bushnell. I talked with their tech service once and the guy got mad at me for asking questions about one of their products. Either he didn't know the answer or didn't want to answer because he knew it wouldn't have been acceptable to me. He actually asked me why I needed to know that and he said it in an angry tone. I told him he just helped me make up my mind. I'll never buy their products.

Para, I see we are not located that far apart. I have both brands and if you are asking this as a lead in to buying one, if you want to get together you are welcome to try both. I like both and have no issues with either brand. I will say that my call to USO was much more enjoyable than the call to NF. I LOST the solid cover for my elev turrent. USO sent me one for free. Read that again, I LOST the cover, but they would not let me pay for a replacement. To me, that is a company that is concerned about keeping you happy.
Either one is a good tough scope.

I just watched the YouTube shot and that is why you don't buy a demo scope. Pretty amazing but I have only shot NF and wouldn't change for anything.
