Anyone know what this mount is called or how much they cost?

I can't really find out much about it as it does not seem to be listed on the APO site.

Re: Ashbury rangefinder mount?

It's a CLRF/LRTI. It's designed to mount the Vector to the Kollsman thermal imager and dial in the reticles to match. It mounts via a self-torquing thumbscrew to a Pic rail on top of the LRTI. My price list is up at the office, but I can post the price as soon as I get back up there.

Re: Ashbury rangefinder mount?

Thanks Cory I would appreciate that!

I am wanting to use this to mount a Vectronix plrf-05 above my spotter on an Ashbury TIM. Not sure if this will or won't work but I figured you and some other guys here probably would know.

ETA: I just saw there is a thread in the LR section involving this same basic idea.

Re: Ashbury rangefinder mount?

I don't think this will get it done. The Vector has a pad like the spotter, but a PLRF just has a threaded hole and the screw in this mount won't reach.

You could use an ARMS 17 type throw lever attached to the PLRF with a 1/4-20 screw, then you can mount to the rail.

Re: Ashbury rangefinder mount?

I drilled and tapped my TIM and installed a Manfrotto QD base on top between the pic rail on the top left and the mounting screw on the right. Now it's easy to install and remove a host of optics using Manfrotto QD adapters.

I'll try to take some pics and post them. Gives you many more mounting options with the TIM for binos, PLRF-10, spotting scope on top etc.
