Finished this build a while ago, just now getting around to posting it.

(Sorry about the crappy phone quality pics, don't have a real camera)

Video!!

Primary arms 4x16 scope
Burris P.E.P.R mount
Samson Evo handguards (15 inch)
White Oak 18 inch SPR barrel, 1:7 .95 inches .75 inches after gas block
spikes upper (blemish $60
smile.gif

Mega lower (roll stamped by local shop)
MOE Stock (upgrading later not too important for starting out)
PSA BCG and charging handle (bought both together used for $60)
Stag lower parts kit (with JPL yellow spring kit)
Miculek muzzle break

I'll have to try to find pics of the groups but the best I've shot so far is 3/4 inch, im not an experienced precision shooter ether (done plenty of hunting growing up but certainly a lot to learn when it comes to precision) I think the gun is capable of better. I'd like to get a good shooter behind and see what they can do.

Re: My new 18" SPR!

Very nice! I built amost the same rifle. The only thing different on mine is I have a Spikes Jolly Rodger lower, Geisselle SSA trigger and Wilson Combat 18" fluted sniper barrel. I love the Samson Evo! I can ring 6" steel plates all day long at 500 yards. I have not had the room to really stretch it but I'm sure it would go the distance.

Nice work!

Re: My new 18" SPR!

To me that doesn't look like any mega lower I have seen. Correct me if I'm wrong but Megas are all billet and your lower is forged. I'm not trying to be rude I just wouldn't want you to pay mega prices for something that is not. Other than that I think it is an very nice rifle.

Thanks! Yea I haven't really gotten to shoot it past 100 yards yet, I'd like to stretch my capabilities and shoot some steel at 500+ yards but there is only one range in my state that has a 600 yard plate. Otherwise I'd have to try to find 600+ yards on my own which is near impossible in NH, so many damned woods.

I'm happy with my 3/4" so far, for a gas gun I guess thats not bad (and not to mention my lack of real precision experience / skill). I hope I can improve though, like I said I think the gun can do even better.

No sir, they certainly do forged lowers! My local guy buys them from mega and has them put his roll stamp on it so he can call it his own, I think Mega is one of the few places that retailers can do that with. (there are only a handful of actual receiver manufacturers, places like spikes etc just have the made and roll stamped).
