I pickle some jalepenos every year, with
Vinegar
Water
Salt
Dill seed
Garlic
Olive oil

They are delicious, but I'm looking for some different recipes.

Got any?

Re: Pickling Jalepenos

You have a good start to making Giardanera. Add cauliflower, sliced celery, sliced carrots, let age a few weeks and enjoy. I've had a bumper crop of jalapeños this year. I've also been making jalapeño jelly. It's great when added to BBQ sauce.

I love me some Jalapeno jelly. I haven't had any of that since I lived in NM but reading that instantly made my mouth water!

Re: Pickling Jalepenos

1 of my favorite ways to pickle jalapenos peppers is to use a sweet pickle recipe, or even a bread and butter pickle recipe

They get the flavor relatively quick; maybe 2 weeks. I just had some that have been sitting for 6 weeks and they were amazing.

Look up "escabeche" on line. All sorts of jalapeño pickling options.
