It was preput together like this in the wrapper. looks like it was all put together already, are they shipping that way now? I also don't see the black bipod mount hanging off it.

Also anyone know where to find the installation instructions? Want to make sure I torque it right in the right order.

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

I believe the proper torque is 65 inch lbs... Hope that helps..Stock will look great by the way

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Proper torque is 69in/lbs and tighten the front first then the back. Which bipod mount are you looking for, the spigot mount is the hole in the front, and the Harris mount is on the bottom of the fore-end under the forward-most skin bolt. It looks like another sling loop.

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Probably referring to the old NV mount/spigot mount which has since been removed from the AICS line. Totally digging the new gen thumbhole skins - if only they fit my big hands better :'(

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Ah right, I thought that NV mount thing was added to newer models but I didn't need it anyway and it looked pretty ugly.

I cant seem to find an install PDF anywhere. Anyone got a link?

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

The correct torque is 53inlb. Front first and then rear.

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

^^ This! The correct torque is 6 nm / 53 in-lbs. ^^

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Here's some completed pics. Big thanks to seekins precision who swapped out a pair of low 30mm rings I bought 4 months ago from SWFA for some mediums, they said just mail em in and I had new ones a few days later.

The AICS is a favorite of mine and I hope you enjoy yours. One thing I did notice was that the knob on the rifle is not running inline with the bolt handle. Why is that?

Not sure, that's how the smith put it on when he threaded it. Seems to work okay though.

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Impressive, did you see an increse in accuracy after the stock or is it equivalent?

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

All 8 shots missed left? I would sell it immediately! I will give yo 500.00 for the left shooting rifle right now, just to take the defect off your hands.

Not sure if there was an increase in accuracy, more than likely it just allowed me to utilize the accuracy it had with the better, more consistent ergonomics.

Thanks! I agree. I was thinking about getting the barreled action Cerakoted in flat black but worried about it being done wrong, think they'd strip the bolt down before doing it? I dont want to have to break the Cerakote to take the bolt apart.

Re: Just got my new AICS from Eurooptic!

Nice rifle..it looks great and shoot the same!

I still wait mine (a Remington SPS V), I've got my AICS stock before and the rifle ETA this month..
