Range Report POI shift

i shoot at 2 different ranges, roughly 3K ft elevation difference.
shot at the lower one last friday and the POI had shifted up about 1"; so re-zeroed for that range.
shot the same rifle, same load at the higher range today, POI was about 1" low.
the DA difference is about 5200 ft; would that account for the POI shift?

so, that means i need to create dope cards for each location?

Absolutely, there's this amazing thing called density altitude we learn't about in flight school.
