I loved the movie... Especially the religious & mythological imagery from the movie.... Hmm... Wonder if the DNA juice takes 6 days to create life on earth.... Whoo......

Well i watched alien which i haven't seen in forever and felt the same as i did watching prometheus. Maybe more character development on alien's part but they were both paced about the same IMO.

I thought some of the things they added in really killed it.

Humankind being seeded by aliens is always a bit silly for the same reason that a lot of hardcore nerds seemed to be disappointed by the Space Jockey; it kills the mystery.

The Alien sacrificing himself to seed life made me think of the Mel Brooks parody where the apes stand up and start jerking off...2000 years ago yeah I get it, Jesus was an alien...

I would have liked it much more if things were left more ambiguous. Let people debate it and draw their own conclusions.
