I am looking for you recommendations on a trigger upgrade fro my G19. I had a Ghost ultimate 3.5 drop in connector in my previous Glock (gen 3) and loved it and so i got one for my new Gen 4 G19 but once i put it in it doesn't work. It doesn't activate the firing pin so when you pull the trigger you only hear the click of the plastic moving but no firing pin dropping. and not only that it causes the trigger assembly to bind up with the slide so its a PITA to get it back apart. i took it to 2 different Glock Armorers to see if maybe i was doing something wrong but they all had the same results when they installed it. So what Connector do you guys use?or recommend that I use that is a drop in?

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

sell it and buy a gen 3 G19.... problem solved.

Why Gen 3 over Gen 4?

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

Nothing wrong with Gen 4. Charlie Vanek is the name you need to know.

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

all kinds of crap you can do yourself.

zev makes a nice trigger. You can get the trigger pull down to what I would consider scary pull. lol

.25 cent trigger job.

if this is a carry gun you might consider the 25 cent trig job and only doing very very very little polishing.

if this is some sort of comp gun - zev seems to have it all figured out - of course you pay for that

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

if it's a comp gun and you want to fiddle -

there are titanium firing pins, titanium firing pin safeties, wolff springs to fool with. polishing. different connectors - sky is the limit. Just be damn careful....you do things wrong... you likely to do one of three things

1. hurt yourself
2. hurt others
3. make yer gun double or triple fire and end up in club fed.

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

i tried to see how light i could get one once & in cold weather it would double tap almost every shot

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

it's a video on youtube that shows you what to polish to have a better trigger

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

Ahhh I see!!! That's pretty damn cool. I am have do that once I get this connector thing figures out. I think I am gonna pick up the lone wolf 3.5 and see if that one functions properly

Re: 3.5lb Trigger upgrade

I have one in my Gen 3 G26, think I got it through Brownell's no issues maybe it's not compatible with Gen 4 yet.
