Movie Theater Outlaw Platoon (book)

Been doing a shitload of reading this year in books by our specops guys and SEALS. They have left me with an even deeper respect and appreciation than I already have for them.
With that said, "Outlaw Platoon" was the first one I have read on platoon level operations in Afghanistan. One the best I have read since maybe Band of Brothers. Well written and awe inspiring IMO. Just a damn good page turner!

I agree it was a very good book! There are so many good ones out there and just like you said it really does leave you with a deeper respect for what these men and women do!

Dude, I RIP'ed those dudes out from Bermel in May 07, can't wait to get my hands on that book. Those guys spraypainted "RLTW" on everything, and wrote "Shit happens when you party naked" on the ceiling of my truck right above the driver's seat. I'm really wondering what he had to say about Margha COP and Malekshay.

Yep, I've read the book twice, and really like the guys in it. I just wish the first interpreter would have had some more support from our ranks....

Very well written book. I beleive it is one of the better ones I have read this year.
