Got the new style aics, wondering if victor co is planning on making skins for it. Tried emailing them earlier this week but haven't heard back. I know the older viperskins will fit but it will have a big notch cutout at the bolt handle area. Would the ai ae viperskins have a smaller cutout in this area? Would the ai ae viperskins even fit the aics skeleton? Thanks for the help.

I didn't even know there any difference in the frame between the skins which would cause a cutout. Where did you find this info? (Just curious, not doubting you.)

I talked to mile high and they told me they had tried a viperskin on a new style aics and there was a big cutout around the bolt handle. The pics of the viperskins show the large square notch. Older aics had a square extension of the skeleton that came out flush with the side of the skins. On lwusmc's review of the viperskins he bolted an aics set to his aiae and the notch is pretty obvious. Now i like function over form, but if victor co is not going to come out with new style skins i will rock a set of their skins for an ai ae on my aics. Maybe Michael Victor will chime in on this.

Try sending him a PM, he might not notice the thread.
I'm also quite interested in this as I ordered an AI AE, which will come with the new skins. Any clue if the victor skins fill fit those correctly? I imagined it would as I thought the only change was the skins themselves.

apparently there is a difference in the new AICS. This picture came from AI's website.
