Our October match is the last one you can shoot if you are shooting the TPRC. Christopher will be running this match, he has helped out before but this is his first one solo. He's an asset to our club and know he will do well.

Oct. 20th
8am start time(note time change from 7am)
Usually 50 rounds
7-700yds.
$10 for members of PRGC and $15 for non-members

(stolen from Scott, it sounds better)

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

50 rounds it is!

For a chance to win a $25 gift card you will need to be able to use your reticule to determine target distance based upon target size and/or target size based upon target distance.

Here are some equations that might help:

Target Size(inches) = Distance(Yards) x mils / 27.78
Example: 36”=1000 yards x 1 mil / 27.78

Distance(Yards) = Targets Size(inches) x 27.78 / mils
Example: 1000 yards = 36” x 27.78 / 1 mil

Target Size(inches) = Distance(Yards) x moa / 95.5
Example: 5.235”=1000 yards x 0.5 moa / 95.5

Distance(Yards) = Targets Size(inches) x 95.5 / moa
Example: 1000 yards = 5.235” x 95.5 / 0.5 moa

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

I'll be rolling down with Sideforce! Looking forward to shooting with ya'll.

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

Now do I use the 6x47Lapua the .308 Savage or get the gasser sighted in and run it. Either way looking forward to shooting the match Christopher

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

Tressler is running this? Sheep shit, I'm bummed to miss this. I'm gonna send a care package down with the Comforts for Lowe, and Tressler (my much coveted hose). I'll send another 50' just in case any of you other dirty AZ folks need any.

Shoot straight, and I'll see most of you in Vegas at the end of the month!

Ty

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

I have to work on the day of the match, but will stay as long as able. I'll also help with setup.

Ty you're the man and thank you for storing that hose in your garage all this time.

I appreciate it.

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

Did I miss a memo? Nobody was at practice today, were they? All I saw was a shotgunner when I got there ~08:00.

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

There was construction going on all last week and this week so I decided to take it off. Sorry, I usually post on our lrprs.com forum.

Re: AZ LRPRS Oct Match

Here are some equations that might help for one of the stages during the match on Saturday.

Target Size(inches) = Distance(Yards) x mils / 27.78
Example: 36”=1000 yards x 1 mil / 27.78

Distance(Yards) = Targets Size(inches) x 27.78 / mils
Example: 1000 yards = 36” x 27.78 / 1 mil

Target Size(inches) = Distance(Yards) x moa / 95.5
Example: 5.235”=1000 yards x 0.5 moa / 95.5

Distance(Yards) = Targets Size(inches) x 95.5 / moa
Example: 1000 yards = 5.235” x 95.5 / 0.5 moa
