RIP Big Tex.
When I lived in Houston, I made the pilgrammage to the State Fair. Two things I remember: 1. Big Tex 2. the fact that the restrooms at the TX State Fair were bigger than the entire state fair in my home state... Go big or go home, indeed.
I read that the only parts that survived were his boots and his hand... made of fiberglass that did not burn.
They will rebuild...

During the OU & Texas games it was always a point that stood out in the memories. Sad indeed.
Do they know if arson was involved or was this deemed just an accident?
