Hey guy's today I was test fitting my Ken Ferrell rail on my savage 110ba and noticed the very front screw is a tad bit long, just wondering if you guys have encountered this with the 110ba .338 and what methods would be good to ground down the screw? With my measurements it looks like it's .010 to long.

Are you sure you didn't get the screws flipped? I know some rails come with different length screws for the front and back.

+1, depending on if rails are > 0 MOA rails, how they're drilled, and account for shallower threads holes for front for barrrels threads vs. rear holes, but usually front screws are shorter than rear screws...

That's weird, I just double checked and all screws are exactly the same height that came with my 30 MOA rail. Even when the second front screw is all the way in before tightening its only 1 turn away from the bolt. I think I should be good If I take about.020 off the very front screw only.
