Hello to all

I have to change my rear bag and would like to know what you guys are using and why. I shoot at the bench and prone.

Thanks

Re: Wrestling with my rear bag

Traid tactical. Ive used mine in all shooting positions and it has worked extremely well.

Re: Wrestling with my rear bag

For me, the most important thing is the height you can get out of a given rear bag. Depending on the angle where you shoot most often, the height of the bag can make a big difference as to how comfortable I am behind the rifle. If there is a slight to moderate down angle, a bag that is too small relative to the bipod legs at their shortest extension will make it extremely uncomfortable when shooting 20 round strings in matches. You end up having to squeeze like crazy to get the buttstock to ride high enough on the little bag. For that reason, I use the Red Tac Tactical pillow from Triad for F-Class matches (http://www.triadtactical.com/Red-Tac-Gear-Tactical-Pillow.html). It's pretty big, but you can just use just the edge if you don't need that much height. I also have the two smaller bag sizes from Triad, which also work very well if you don't need much height, but I find the big bag is more versatile overall.

That was exactly the problem I was having yesterday. It was very frustrating. I had to hit both sides of the bag with the heels of my hands to raise the position of the buttstock.
Thanks
