Is there any reason that this optic is not a great choice for a 16 inch .308 gasser? I'm wondering what round and what velocity the hold overs are for, and are the integrated iron sights any good?

It looks like it would be a nice battle rifle optic.

Thanks for any feedback.

You will get a black eye with your shooting eye, Eye Relief is way too short. Get the TA-11, to me the TA-11 Series (3.5x) are the best ACOGs. I have 3 ACOGs, a TA11F, TA31F, and TA01-NSN, the TA31/01 is fine for 556, but even for 556 I would rather run a TA11. I love my TA-11 so much that will never buy a TA01/31 again.

I knew you guys would have some experience with them. Thanks for the heads up! I'm not sold on anything...just looking for a nice, compact, low magnification optic for the REPR. If my NXS 2.5-10 had the 24mm objective rather than the 32mm, I would have never taken it off. If the 1-4 Accupoint had a mil-dot reticle, I would consider that as well. I'll give the TA33 or T11 a look.

Thanks again,
