Well 308shooter you just helped me say order it to my FFL on the SPS Tactical. It will be for my son of whom I will spend time with to do all the upgrades with him.(BTW he is 15 and can shoot as good if not better than myself some days) By the way, buy the AR10 which ever one you get, enjoy taking it apart and putting back together as that is what they are made for, do some upgrades as you feel more comfortable working on it and shoot the hell out of it! Enjoy! Shoot me a pm anytime if taking apart and have questions.

And you tried to turn it into a question of both being accurate by use of a vice, then when you got called out on it you tried to make it out as if you mean something entirely different. A GA Precision rifle is built with precision and function in mind. I've been there while they put it together with great care to make sure they get every ounce of accuracy out of it. I'm not going to waste my time going through all the extra things they do to get the most out of their rifles because you don't listen. Armalite is a nice rifle but not the same thing. I know, you want to ask "why not?" but the problem is I can't help you because you're a dumbass. Please, just keep putting your rifles in a vise and thinking that you know something because you're to much of a dumbass to learn anything else but don't confuse others with your lack of knowledge.

Last I checked you don't screw in the barrel on an Armalite or a GA Precision Gap10.

I have owned and still own numerous gas and piston rifles in the ar platform. Some are better than others. I have watched plenty of rifles fail the accuracy standards professed by many a manufacturer. GA Precision Gap10's will do what they say. If you would like, bring your Armalite down to K&M and I will show you the difference between the two.

Oh, and don't forget your vise because we don't have one.

GAP Boss,

I just think the info is out there for anyone to build a Precision AR. If they don't want to build the AR themselves, well Armalite offers a 1 MOA Guarantee for a rifle that is about $800 cheaper than a GAP rifle with a 3/4th MOA guarantee.

Can you please educate me Friend?

It's used to take off and put on the barrel. I prefer the ones with you use with a socket wrench.

You asked me why you put a barrel wrench on an AR, and I though it was for decoration. Why do you put a barrel wrench on your AR? Can you teach me? Should I put a barrel wrench on my AR's for decoration?

Eric...since you're a master builder and have barrel wrenches for decor hanging off your builds, how many world records do your guns hold? Just curious.

Let me guess, your gun holds 1000 world records? What the gun shoots themselves? AWESOME!!! YOU ARE SUCH A MASTER BUILDER!

I am going to recommend everyone to go to use to build an AR (aka screw in a barrel)!

I thought that is why you put a barrel wrench on an AR for, I thought it was for decoration. If it is not for decoration, why do you put a barrel wrench on an AR for?

You didn't turn it into anything.
Eric did, he thrives on trying to start stuff in threads that compare one brand to another. When he gets someone on the hook he'll post and post like trying to reason with a 3 year old.

Here's some no BS input,
Armalite is a good rifle, Personally I wouldn't buy one but only because of the mags. Even the new receiver I wouldn't buy because in my opinion I'm paying extra for a name on a factory rifle. that's my opinion doesn't make it a bad factory rifle or a poor purchase.

the GAP 10 is a custom gun, not factory. It's built to your specs by hand one at a time. To me comparing the two is not fair to the Armalite. the GAP will shoot better.

Now, if you don't plan on shooting comps and you don't plan on changing a whole lot about the factory gun then there seems to be no reason to get a custom rifle. Save your money, buy ammo.

If you desire a gun built just like you want and to shoot with the best around then you want a custom, get the GAP. It'll probably end up a wash as opposed to buying a bunch of new components after you get a factory rifle.

Eric made some good points about building your own, though it's masked by hardcore trolling.
I didn't want to build my own either. That's why I took a stripped upper and lower and I sent them to GAP to build (this was before the GAP10 was available)

Another option for you is to buy all the parts you want, including the barrel and BCG then bring/send it to a smith for assembly. This will save you money as well. (personally the upper is the only thing you have to send out, lowers are pretty easy to put together)
Only drawback to that might be not having the same type of guarantee as you would get with buying a full complete rifle.

Good luck with your decision, you'll be shooting straight either way.
