Not the biggest, but the one on the left is a young 8 and the right is a young 10. My dad shot the 8 and I the 10. they were about 50 yards apart on separate days.

I'm kinda likin the fact that it shows a little diversity in breeding where we hunt.

Oklahoma is underated for trophy bucks in my opinion. I've been lucky to have taken a few and seen many more. But then again any that I harvest are trophies to me.

anymore I'm just huntin for meat. I like the chase. never hunted from a stand or blind and try to catch em. I killed a really nice 12 that way about five years ago and it's just stuck with me. I don't care much for management. Just go for what I can halfway sneak up on.

I hope so! Really nice deer guys.

I'm heading to OK for a first time deer hunt on a friends ranch right after Thanksgiving. We visited the ranch a couple times this past summer and saw good deer around and plenty of sign where you'd expect it.

Seeing these pics only makes the anticipation even worse.
