    It's gonna take a bunch of us to buy this. Maybe we can split it 1000 ways, but I don't know what I would do with another 62 pounds of 5.56 brass.

    I sure hope someone buys it that will process and resell it rather than a scrap metal buyer.

    I would love to be in on that. How would a shipper get it out of there? Couple semis? ONe for the brass with hoppers on it and one for the equipment to move it?

    At 1/2 oz each thats 32 per lb....32x62000=1,984,000. Should keep you shooting for a while.

    In researching closed auctions for 5.56mm brass the average sale price is $2.40 to $2.60 a pound, not counting the buyers premium. At $2.50 a pound that would be $155,000, with the buyers premium of 10% the approximate total will be $170,500. Count on at least a 10% cull rate (6,200 pounds).
