I was hoping to see Bama vs Dawgs for the SEC title. You guys are on a hell of a roll, while meanwhile we Tennessee fans are stuck celebrating the defeat of Kentucky for our first/only conference win this year. Damn you Kiffin, damn you.

Nice! I got a thread with my name on it!!. I didnt even get to watch the game as I had to work. So glad I gave that ticket away. Listened to the post game all the way home tonight. Time for a change. Cant wait to see tomorrow's paper..

All I can say is GO DAWGS!!!!

Oh and go USC Trojans for another all SEC National title game.

Go dogs? Run dog run. Georgia Alabama is the BCS Bowl game. Once again the SEC Championship game becomes the National Championship game. Either of those teams woulda beat the snot out of ND yesterday. I hate Bell broke his leg, we are down a coupla WR. not good.

I am sure GA has a chance to beat Alabama. We are down in some critical areas. But, if GA can score 42 points on Alabamas defense I will have a stroke. If they beat bama it will be by less than a touchdown. I imagine the score to be more like 21-17 Bama wins.
Then we will beat ND in the BCS afterthought.

Hey Will! I hope you are doing well.

Here's potential good news for you. Since Auburn is being investigated there are certain stipulations that may prevent AU from paying him anything. Basically it nullifies his buyout. So I wouldn't worry about it that much.

Next, If you want to see at team representative of the student body, go to Vanderbilt or get out of the SEC. The PAC-12 does it as well as some of the other conferences. However the SEC has a long way to go before that is the case.

Yessir, I guess that is our penance for the War of Northern Aggression ??!! Doing well, total regression ... as if it had a choice. What I had either went up or down, Last chest x-ray was clear and if it went up it hit hardened concrete or nothing there !!!

If Auburn gets by on not having to pay Gene they better be damn sure there are no skeletons in the closet. I would think having 7.5 very large taken from him would leave a severely bad taste in his mouth. Skeletons, dirty underwear, and who knows what else would come flying out of that closet!!!

Id almost rather pay him the 7.5 and the NCAA not find anything. I would hate to be put on suspension for a number of years. Missing 3-4 years of bowls will certainly put a large dent in our wallet as well.

Hopefully Hart makes a good hire and we get back on track in the next three years.

As for the title game reference i'm interested to see how ND fares against Bama. Both are tied for number 1 defense in the land. On top of that both have had hard schedules. ND's offense will certainly need to gain some pep though.

Yes i'm saying no way in hell Georgia beats Bama. I'd be thoroughly shocked if they did. Richt teams have a habit for under performing and other than the Florida game they've done so all year even with that weak schedule. JMO but i've never really been impressed with UGA always seems like the talent is there but they find ways to under perform.

WTF!!! Did you guys see the cheap shot on GA QB. The official was right there too. What a bunch of crap bama has got going on. Obvious that the stripes are deep in bama's pocket. I hope GA wins this one. Cant stand such obvious dirty football.

Ben, learn the rules. When the defense makes an interception the QB is no longer the QB but now a defender. Why do you think when it happened right in front of the ref he didn't call it? Keep your head on a swivel. Besides, I notice you're not rallying against the Georgia illegal hit on McCarron

Let's be honest. Regardless of fan affiliation this is a violent game and I, for one, is sick of the pussification of many of the rules; especially in regards to the QB. If it was a shot on the QB in the pocket, I'm right there with you. But when he goes after the guy with the ball, he makes himself a "player". He could have easily just walked away or avoid any contact entirely.

You want to talk about cheap shots and penalties? Georgia leads the SEC in penalties per game. They probably lead the country.... they have 7 currently. They are even resorting punching down on the line of scrimmage.

One of the first defensive plays for UGA was a helmet to helmet hit on McCarron....

Meanwhile at Auburn, they are warming up to play in the Porcelain Bowl.

Gruden was never going to take it. He gets paid well enough to work 16 Sundays a year. I don't think Jimbo is leaving FSU (family ties), and Strong, I'd think would either stay at Louisville or head to Arkansas since he's got the ties there. I was personally hoping to woo Cutcliffe from Duke, but the day after we opened the job Duke gave him something like an 8 year extension.

Maybe Derek Dooley is available?

I would for any quaterback. Just as i said i'm surprised they didn't call the "Blocked field goal back". ND can stop them it's just a matter of how long NDs offense can let it's defense rest. Georgia stopped them to an extent but when your offense scores quick and then just goes three and out your defense gets gassed. That's been alabama's strategy all year and it works to perfection for the most part. Hell UT bama was a close game leading into half. They wear you down.

By no means does the Tide have the best players. They just have so many good players that it's hard to compete with their depth. If they had a quarterback who displayed a shred of consistency, the entire season would have been pretty boring to watch. Good ol' AJ knows how to keep the fans on their toes! For the slow ones, that's my polite way of saying he sucks balls. He was great, but seems to be getting worse week by week.

I will go against the grain here and say that the NC game will look like an early season Bama game. I say that in spite of the fact that Bama should not have won the game tonight. The West Coast just isn't on the same level. They aren't even on the same level as this shitty Bama team.... I will say that this year was the best chance a West Coast team had of proving me wrong. As for Oregon beating Bama.... Seriously? Did you watch the Stanford game? That is the most unorganized chaos of an offense that I've seen in a while. The defense is virtually non-existent. A half ass coached Bama team would run all over them and not leave enough time on the clock for them to score. By half ass coached, I mean keeping the ball out of the cry baby's throwing arm.

Ok ok ok. Ill say this, then Ill let you bama fans enjoy the win.

I can recognize a good player no matter what team they play for. I just dont have to cheer for the team they play for. It was certainly a nail biter of a game. It was fun to watch, but some of the comments you guys make sound like you think you blew them out or had some outstanding win. Just one more play separated a win from a loss on that one. Georgia played a great game. Give them some credit at least. They certainly deserve more respect then that "G-ay" picture that was posted up.

.. On there other hand.... Asking bama fans not to over boast is asking way too much I know... Nature of being a bama fan. Lived with it all my life. Have family sitting right here that would totally agree with most of you. It certainly is painful for me to endure, esp after the season AU put forth this year.

Mike, KYS, and Jerry.. and all you other bammers...... Good game.... Congrats.... etc etc.

Georgia has nothing to be ashamed of in that game. Losing a close one like that has to be more painful but no question they could have won that game.
