I'm looking for a new set of low rings for my USO on a GAP SCLE. I've used Seekins, Badger, and IOR rings before but really like the results from the Seekins and Badger. Seekins and Badger have a strong reputation and many great reviews on them but IOR does not.

Does anyone know of the quality IOR has compared to Seekins?

Re: How are IOR Rings?

I've always had great luck with the IOR rings (and bases). My issue with them (and this is from years ago, I haven't bought any in a while) was that they used soft metal in the screws and it was EASY to mess them up. Simply change screws and everything is good.

I haven't bought a set in years, though, so I can't comment on current production other than to say that IOR's product line has gotten better in general over time and I would expect that the rings are fine.

Re: How are IOR Rings?

I have a newer set of IOR steel rings and they are rock solid. Good fit and finish, and they are machined from billet. I would definitely not hesitate to get another set.

Re: How are IOR Rings?

I put a set on for a buddy. They were very similar to the set of Badgers I had just put on another rifle. I would not have any problems using them again.
