Hey Guys, I did a search but not seeing what I am looking for. What are you guys using for actions screws for a Rem 700 and where are you buying them from? After bedding the screws look a little short for some reason so I am needing some longer ones that I might need to trim to fit. Also, what is the norm now? Hex? Torx? Regular slotted? Thanks guys. I appreciate your time. -DBrace

1/4 28 screws should work fine, you may have to cut them to the length you need. I usually use a cap head socket.

Some longer ones are available through Brownells. You can also PM me with your info. I have a few extra sets of them around.
