Just finished Cerakoting (Magpul FDE) a MA TEN and Rail ~ came out FANTASTIC.

Now I would like to Cerakote an ERGO SN3 1.8x10x37 to match.
I KNOW it will be air cured and have used it before.

The Question is: How much of the scope do you take apart?
Knobs > yes
But what about the Parallax and Zoom areas?
Not really wanting to take these apart if I don't need to especially if getting it back together requires something special to adjust it or if it can get screwed up.
OR.
Just carefully tape it up and Cerakote?
thanks

Re: Cerakote a USO Scope?

Way I understand it, and I could be mistaken, but I believe that USO will actually cerakote their scopes body components.

Whether it is only during an actual build, or if they'll 'disassemble and re-do', I don't know. Point is, contact them and find out. I've never heard anyone, ever, say that they didn't answer questions.

One day, I too will have one of my own, to be contemplating the same query.
