I said I wasn't doing any story lines but thought I would do a couple more quick pics, of some more great still shots from the AX-2000.
Once again, nothin beats an afternoon with the boys, hittin some wide open spaces killin dogs on video.

2 minutes into this set, this mangy nasty lookin yote comes trotting in to the call,

I put one shooter high,

and another right beside me and my camera,

getting greedy like always and wanting better and more footage we let the dog close in...

My shooter that was prone did not have a clear shot because of the ground level, so I instructed the sniper above to do work...

a great end to an ugly dog, I'd say we did him a favor.

Don't some of them get ugly!!!! He woulda been a cold bitch by this weekend with the weather coming in!

Seen one on my last trip to Rapid 35 miles south of here just after daylight. One tuft of hair left on his tail and probably worse over the rest of his body than that one. Got turned around and by that time he made it to a bale pile. Soon as I got to where I seen him he crawled in. Was in a hurry so just drove off.

I actually feel sorry for the poor bastards(heh, I am a compassionate ol fuck) as to what they go through in these parts this time of year before they finally bite the dust!!!!

Damn skinney, them yotes got you possessed!

Skinney, I'm gonna have to correct you on one thing...while that critter may look mangy and nasty, it's actually a very rare and healthy trophy quality Parm dog. Whoever shot that dog (probably Keith) ought to be proud and should seriously consider a full body mount above the fireplace.

I don't think he's been on in a while but I'll let him know. One thing is for sure there are a Phuck load of yotes running the country this year so before the season ends were gonna turn this thing into a blood bath. Probably gonna need that 3rd disc when it's all said and done.

Nasty! I had one that was about that bad. Took my young daughter hunting and one of those just walked up to us and I shot it very close range with a 22 pistol. Just nasty.
