I've been out of the loop for the better part of the year and started to look at components again for my build. When did AI switch stock designs?

Below are pictures pulled from Google images.

Old I guess

Captain Kirk,
The lower picture is not with Viper skins, it is with new Accuracy International stock sides. The photo from SAS sniper has the pistol grip version.

021411, you should go to our website, accuracyinternational.com and you will see all of the AICS choices including our new AX.

Re: AICS stock section

Isn't the lower an AE stock and not and AICS kit, hence the difference? I've not seen an AICS kit with that rear before (and the ai site doesn't show one either, just an AE wit this stock)

Couldn't be happier, took me about 10 min to exchange stocks and the took it to the range and shot (4) 5 shot groups and all of them were under .5 MOA.

Re: AICS stock section

I got a savage aics Thursday, good stockm. If u have a factory or nss recoil lug it works. I have two rifles that have SSS lugs and they are too tall, luckily the barreled action i planned to drop in has a NSS on it. Factory Stevens, accutrigger, RB Sav-1, and timney fits. SSS Match and RB sav-2 will not with out some work. The SSS is pretty easy, it has side plates similar to a 700 trigger, the lower rear corners need to be buzzed off to fit. The slot in the bottom where the trigger shoe comes out could be opened , but i hated to do that so i modified the trigger .
