I knew this would happen. I ordered three pmags because I only have two right now. The site is sold out now, but that's OK. I have what I need.

I will see if the local shops have any left.

Got all my ammo in November, now money is tight, but at least it won't be a repeat of 2008-09.

A buddy of mine, wvtrainer here on the Hide, texted me a bit ago and told me that Ace's Sporting Goods in Washington, PA (about 40min away from us here in Morgantown, WV) had a pretty good stock of 20LR PMAGs in stock. They were $24/mag which isn't great, but its better than some sources. They also had OD and FDE windowed PMAGs available too. Here is a link to their website:

I've never attempted to order over the phone from them as they are basically local to me, and they don't have an online store, but it may be worth a call in the morning to see what they've got and if they'll ship or take orders over the phone.

The Gun Store in Leander Texas, has at least 20 DPMS 19 round steel mags.. There not Pmags but at this point it's better than a kick in the head..

I keep getting internal server error. Ah, I think I am good with what I got. I will let the guys who really need them scrape the bottom of the barrel with these. I was able to get a couple more of the Larue 308 mags before they stopped that, so Im happy.

Thanks Magstang, I was able to wade through the server errors and get 4 of them with email confirm. Still waiting on 10 from Botach.

Well one benefit of all this is that I am on the mailing list now for many great shops I never would have heard of. Thanks to my brothers on the hide their is much greater breadth to my future sourcing.

Thanks Magstang1 for that link. I got a confirmed order. I have received 5 funds returned into my bank trying to get some mags for my LWRC 12.5 REPR I have waiting for me at home from other vedors. Was getting worried.

I have never used this vendor and I never will in the future. I was on email notification for another mag and got the back in stock notify this morning. They basically doubled the price on the item. Screw them.

Fngmike, are you talking about jtdistributing, the last link posted above? The price on their website doesn't look out of line for 308 pmags. However, I didn't get a email notification so I don't know if they had a new price listed there. Anyway, pmags show up in the strangest little local shops. I would look or call around. The internet is a dangerous place right now...

Edit... I just read what you actually wrote. I wonder whether their distributor jacked prices on them and they are now forced to pass on the new prices. I've never dealt with them so I'm not defending, but there is enough gouging to go around.

This is ridiculous. I just bought an MWS about a month ago and thought I would get a few spare mags in a month or two - boy was I wrong.

If anyone has a few they wouldn't mid parting with (and won't rape me over the price) PM me, I'll buy um. These are for my personal use, not to resell!

Same boat I finally get my 10 and now I cant get mags. I can see it now I'm on the front line fighting the zombie's and I have to stop to reload my one and only mag =( They never show you that part in the movie.

Haha i'm in the same boat. I put off buying extra mags for my OBR (only got one since I'm in CA, a PMAG at that), and now they're nowhere to be found. Ah well...

In Oct i had made an order and i went ahead and threw in one for the heck of it. Well it's been backorderd since then. Seems Magpul has not produced any in last few months. I'm sure they are on it now.

Crazy shiite, a buddy sent me one a few weeks ago as a Chrismas present, said a friend bought it without knowing it did not fit the Armalite. OK, now I have four of the puppies, along with a few DPMS 19 round clunkers. Will stand pat for the moment unless I decide to change to the mouse caliber (not likely).

For those that ordered through JT DIST. I just got a UPS Shipment notification from them. Seems the 308 Pmags i ordered have shipped. I'll post when they arrive.

Lgs has them. Going there on Thursday and will see if he wants to do orders. They do not have an Internet site so don't ask. How many he won't say but the prices will be fair for around 28 to 30 bucks. Will post more info later.

Local gunshop has them at $60 each. Tells me that HIS wholesale is WAY up, so he passes along the cost.

He is also selling 223/5.56 Magpuls ONLY in combination with milsurp magazines (AR 15). Buy one, get a metal one at full price. He says that he will pay big $$ to restock when replacement magpuls arrive, and needs the cash to pay for them.

This is also why he has survived numerous recessions and guns bans over 40 years.

He is full of it. My dealer just placed another order and magpul has not increased prices at all. But his monthly allotment has been cut to about 1/4 what it was due to limited production capabilities vs demand.

Some sites have changed their ETA from April to the end of January. By all accounts do you guys think this is even possible (on backorders place today)?

If I ran Magpul I would have around the clock opperations going on and I would have people staggering their lunch breaks and other breaks keeping production going non-stop only to service machines if need be. Its not a matter of if the magazine bill gets passed its when.
