I have 10 NIB Noveske Lowers that just got delivered today from a long back order. What is the current market on them? Looks like its around $500-$750. What is fair (concidering the market) as I hate auctions(waiting game)and love buy it now prices?

And yes the gold I bought at $300 I will sell for as much as I can!! GOD BLESS AMERICA. FREE MARKET. Please keep the communist comments to your self about me being evil tring to get market value. Who know next week they may be on sale for $100 each!

I really just want to know what is a fair market value right now? Educated guess are great.

If you log in to Gunbroker, you can run a search, limited in time to the last week (or even last 48hrs or so) of auctions that have ENDED. Run that search for "chainsaw" and take the average of those sales and price your lowers accordingly.

Or, you could be a sport and let some folks out there who are in need but can't afford to be @$$-raped on prices for a stripped lower get them from you at your normal cost+25% price.

ORD, Thanks i didn't know you could search that. I alway wonder if I bought $1000 for $1 if that would become the new value of $1000. Or if Adam Smith was high.

If I kew they were replaceable For $200 ish I would sell them all for $249. Wild card is something like an order from the white House. It's like farmers that put $8 into a hundered weight of spuds only to sell them for $3 per 100 this year. Why do they continue to plant? $12 per 100 weight makes them rich every few years. Or people quit planting spuds and commies starve.

You have to log in to use that particular search function because it isn't a typical option under the general "guest" or "visitor" to the site search engine within GB. For what you are going for though, that's probably your best bet.

If you go that route, how about a deal as a "finder's fee" on one of the Chainsaws?!?!

(Just joking of course).

And...as to Adam Smith...just remember that it was Smith who said profit is "always highest in the countries which are going fastest to ruin." Be sure to factor that into your pricing as well!

I agree cronie capitalism is screwing up this country. When neither side is forced to the transaction, all is good no matter what the profit. If not one party would just walk away. Freedom is a wonderful thing.

I need to go back to grade school and learn to spell again. Damn you spell check.

After using the search engine looks like prices are comming down a touch. $450-550 looks to be top dollar now. Some auction are goung under $300 when tons are for sale. Market flux based on supply increasing as prices went nuts. Now they are falling off a bit. Until the next speach or event(real or manufactured).
