I know its only 20 rounders and they are thermolds but you take what you can get right now. At least they are the usa made ones not the canadian and its 6 mags with 3 couplers for 26.99 if your a member, like 30 if your not. They were out of stock earlier today and said back ordered till end of the month. I figured I would just order 12 and take them when I get them. Got home from work got on and bam they are in stock. Just ordered some and everything looks good. No messages about back orders or out of stock yet anyway. Just letting the hide members know!

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

That is, indeed, a damn good deal provided that they are in stock.

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Just ordered a few. Thanks for the heads up. I placed a order two weeks ago from Numrich for the T-molds, got order confirmation, but charges disappeared and I never got anything else from them.

I have one 30 rd T-mold that I bought with my first AR in 1993, and it's still one of my "go-to" mags. I hope their quality is still there.

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

I just placed an order for...well...let's say a few packs of these mags. Don't necessarily need more, but hell...for the money, its hard to pass them up.

They are IN STOCK and SHIPPING NOW, so if you are looking for quality, 20rnd mags at a good price, in stock, look no further. With discount savings and free ground shipping, these work out to an even better deal!

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Thanks for the heads-up. I like shooting with the 20 rd mags better anyway. Works out good for me.

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Many thanks for the link. I just bought 4 6-packs and they are still in stock. If you are not a member consider paying 29.99. If you buy 4 or more 6 packs, the math works out.

non member price: 29.99 x 4 = 119.96 ground shipping free
new member 10% discount: 26.99 x 4 = 107.96 + 29.99 = 137.99
(they will send you a $20 gift card for your next purchase)

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

That's amazing. The lady I spoke with at SG said they had 400 sets of 6-mag packs in stock at 12noon today. Maybe she was mistaken.....

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

I guess you guy bought them all up and couldn't left any for the rest of us. back-order to April 8, 2013.

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Thermold mags are junk. Being a Canadian, I hear from every Canadian soldier that's used them how bad they are. Thermolds were issued when the first C7's came out. Lots of broken mag lips, especially in colder weather. Mind you I have no experience with them myself, but with all the bad things I've heard about them, I would stay far away...

More broad and sweeping statements condemning an entire product based on incomplete and inaccurate facts.

The Canadian mags are, in fact, pure SHITE! BUT...the mags being sold by SG are the Master Molder mags made in the USA (in NC as a matter of fact).

Once again, let me set the record straight on this issue as this nonsense re: the supposed "inferiority" of Thermold mags continues to pop up and to fuel the Internet rumor mill.

The original Thermold mags were designed and built by a US mfg. The Canadian military tested them and adopted them instead of going with the standard GI/NATO metal mags. The Canadians bought a license for the tooling/molds for the mags, but instead of going with a proper polymer as spec'd by the original mfg, they went with a different polymer and ended up with mags that were incredibly weak and prone to failure under full-auto and sustained fire or in adverse weather/environments. They ended up with cracked feed lips, mag bodies splitting at the seams and, ultimately, melting under sustained fire...thus the well-earned nickname "Thermelt" mags. That was only true however of the Canadian mags. Mags marked/molded with "MM" or "Master Molder" or otherwise made in the USA are GTG (they were made by the original US mfg).

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

The 20 rounders from Numrich that I ordered Dec. 28 apparently showed up last week, and my DSW neglected to tell me. But, I digress. Anyway, they are marked as ORD describes "Master Molder".

Did not know that. Thanks for setting me straight!

I ordered a few of these yesterday at lunchtime. I received my shipping notification today.

+1

I just got my shipping notice a little while ago. I'm a little disappointed because when I specifically asked about the shipping method, I was told UPS Ground (which is AOK with me). HOWEVER, when I got the shipping notice, it isn't quite that simple. It is the @#$%ing UPS service that ends up putting my package in the hands of the post office morons that routinely end up @#$%ing up my deliveries or otherwise causing me long delays and headaches!! Oh well...not much to do about it now but I'm still a little ticked off about the lack of forthrightness on the CS lady's part (or lack of knowing any better) when I ordered. I'd have gladly "upgraded" to and paid for a UPS-ONLY option if I'd have been told the truth initially.

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Well, much to my delight (and frankly...SURPRISE), my big box-o-mags arrived via USPS this evening after leaving UPS's hands only 3 days ago (its a MIRACLE...somebody call Guinness).

What a deal this was!! I unbagged and inspected all mags and couplers and they are brand new, all 1995 production, Master Molder (North Carolina) mags. I randomly grabbed a handful and function checked them with all running 100%. Live fire test will be tomorrow or Fri (depending on my @#$%ing work schedule). At roughly $4/mag...this was a great snag. Thanks again to the OP for the heads up on this deal! First round is on me if you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, brother!

Re: Thermold 20 round mags with couplers in stock!

Mine arrived yesterday. All present and accounted for.
