I have a R-700 SPS w/ the stock hogue stock. It shoots very well and just getting tired of that stock in general, I've been looking at b&c , hs , manners and McMillan for stocks. I like the style and adjustability of this b&c http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet/the-108/bell-carlson-adjustable-tactical/Detail.

This rifle is mainly for target, hunting and LR when I go out west. If someone could shine some light as too pros and cons on stocks and which one can benefit the most. This is a .308 rifle also will be installing DBM soon as we'll .

Thank you

Dan

Re: Looking at a new stock need advice,

Your best bet is to find other shooters local to you and try some on for size to see what fits and feels the best to you.

Re: Looking at a new stock need advice,

You won't go wrong with a Manner's or a McMillan, I have one of both and they are great stocks just find the model that will suit you best.

Re: Looking at a new stock need advice,

I saw the whole gang of Manners stocks at shot show. Everything they had was fantastic. I really loved their folding line. They lock up like a bank vault. I have always been a McMillan guy but I think I'm going to order a TF1 on Monday!
