Parted ways? I thought he was working for them now.</div></div> no, they parted ways months ago. </div></div>
Ah....hasn't heard that. Wonder what the story there is. </div></div>
There have been more than a few questions about this and although I won't go into any detail, I did leave Defiance Machine in September. This was a positive development, as it was very difficult to divide myself between my own business while serving as Engineer/CEO for another.
Since September, my crew and I have made huge strides in developing new actions and other components that are being manufactured in-house. We've been busy churning out our new line of 1911's, which did very well at SHOT, and we'll continue to push the limits in creativity and design for the sake of the shooting sports and for those that serve us professionally.
I appreciate the support of Sniper's Hide, our customers and those that I've been fortunate to befriend on this site and in the industry. Thanks to our loyal customers, BlackOps Technologies has continued to beat the odds and we've continued to move forward. This is truly humbling and continues to remind us that serving the needs of our customers is far more rewarding than serving a multitude of distractions.
One other big change for BlackOps Technologies is that we've partnered with the Mission Arms Group (MAG). MAG serves as our Sales and Marketing force and their participation allows me to focus on what I do best....Create cool stuff. Because of this arrangement, developmental projects will no longer take as long to complete as the Model 605 Rimfire Repeater (now Patent Pending) has.
Make no mistake, I still own BlackOps Technologies and always will. This means that what we do and how we do it will not be compromised. We will continue to sweat every small detail and continue to turn out the most finely finished rifles and pistols available....among many other new things.
