Ammo prices are crazy, I payed $200 for 420 in ammo can of m855 last week and I still think that's to much to be paying. People who pay these prices are nuts...like $300+ BCG's they arn't going to ban bcg's people calm down.

I found an old receipt from Palmetto for a case of XM855 I bought about 6 months ago and it was $330......I seriously almost cried.

Yeah I know in march of 2012 I bought tons of it for 139/420 on stripper clips. It's insane what ammo is these days. .223 going for 1.00/rnd at times. I don't buy .308 at that price usually.

Try $1.50/rnd for 55 grain FMJ. Followed a link to a site yesterday that had 20 round boxes of Federal American Eagle Tactical 55 grain .223 for 29.95/box 20.

Could be worse. I found a receipt from 2004 where I bought 1k rounds of 45 ACP for $170 shipped.

I remember buying 1200 round cases of Winchester Q3131A 55 grain ammo for 160 bucks a case about 10 years ago . We didn't even bother picking up brass back then .

Bought bulk-packed 1000 round LC XM80 (7.62x51) in 2006, for $235. The irony is that I did not have any gun in that caliber, but the price was insanely low. If I had a 308 rifle then, I would have bought 10k
