CAV15 lowers in stock

Re: CAV15 lowers in stock

Nobody is forcing you to buy it. I'm mearily passing on a lower thats in stock ready to ship.

They look funny but they work well. I have an old Cav arms lower which is the same thing and its a good design. They are one piece so they don't crack where the buffer tube screws in like the NFA and Plum Crazy lowers do.

I'll take one of my LMT's any day of the week over anything polymer but they are still good lowers.

Re: CAV15 lowers in stock

+1 on the CavArms/GWACS receivers. While they may not be the best looking things in the AR world (beauty is in the eye of the beholder...function over form, etc., etc.), they run extremely well, are very lightweight, and are the single best option for doing a .45ACP AR-15 if you happen to be in the market for one.

While I don't need one, thanks to the OP for the heads up in case others are looking. Have no doubts about the quality when it comes to CavArms!

Re: CAV15 lowers in stock

I was thinking these are complete, it turns out they're not. I'm cancelling my order. For $180 each I'd like to have the two I ordered for complete lowers but at $180 for a lower still needing a LPK, they can keep it.

Re: CAV15 lowers in stock

The CavArms lowers were a great buy at $90 at one point... Not a bad lower or design.

I agree, that's about what I paid for my MKII. For $180 it still isn't a bad buy if you want a lightweight lower or you can't find anything else. I already have one though and don't NEED another so I can't see putting $180 in a incomplete one so I cancelled. They are good lowers though without a doubt.
