It will be afew months before im back but id love to head out there and shoot too a mile or more! Looks fun, not many places in Va to shoot like that...

Yes it is, Thank you. We are very blessed to have a few spots close to us to shoot, from 1,400 to 3,000 yards, that are all with in an hour drive or less.

I have a new TRG42 .338 that I've had out to 1000 and I'm itching stretch it out further. I have some Predator Solids on the way from SW Ammo that I want to try next.

Got a .408 CT improved that's just dying to stretch its legs past one mile. Lots of ammo on hand as well. Mind if I join you guys sometime? I live way out on the Eastern Shore but went to school at Radford so I'm familiar...

I am in n.va and will like to shoot upto 500 yds to 800 yds. Is there a minimum distanc you hav to shoot? When are you guys shooting next ?

Our targets are from 100yds to roughly 2800yds. Hey Gameonn, What are you shooting? As soon as it dries up, we will go shooting.

I am acually shooting a very accurate .223 77 blackhills out of 700 platform. I have shot 300 yrds at qantico and its a tack driver. I want to push it to its limmit. The only reason i have not gone for a bigger caliber is because of placeses to shoot them. But yours sound like a very good setup and will help develop skills and equipment.

I know a crap load of guys from the Virginia Beach area that would kill to get out there and streach out their rifles. C2's 300 yard range just ain't cuttin' it. Unfortunately I deploy within the week so getting the chance to come out is not happening.

We'll be at Ray's Fun shoot, and be bringing a few new toys of our own to debut, and let you shoot if you'd like. We'll also be there in case anyone has any trouble, or needs a quick fix. Ray's is always a nice place to shoot, very knowledgeable bunch of people, and plenty of food to be had.

Thats great im from lewisburg WV about 90 mins from Marion Va I shoot 50BMG 1000 yrd comp, ill be in Williamsport PA in june for a shoot. It would be nice to meet up with u guys but as for your problem cash is tight sorry.

Newberry, we use 60moa bases on our rifles we shoot over 2000yds. I don`t see the need to shoot big guns (.338`s and bigger any closer than 1000yds. Thats helps to leave more elevation in the scope.

Yep...that's for the 7mm rem...I have the L 192 bat action. Where/who has the base I need.I talked to Near Scope and he has 60 MOA rings 3 total $320.00.

I only use Ken Ferrell bases. He will build a custom 60moa base for around $200.

Happy day someone else will run the targets.Just let me know and I'll do anything to help. I can bring my 4 wheeler if need be. Just a ideal if the local fire/chruch groups could feed us for $$$.

where exactly where do you guys go shooting? I can't shoot out to 3000 yards quite yet since I only have a 6.5 Creedmoor but I have gone out to a mile with it and would enjoy to shoot at least 1k or so.

I'm a student at Virginia Tech so just seeing how far of a drive it would be for me.

That's not bad at all. I'm almost 2.5 hours from Thunder Valley Precision when I'm home.

I may have to come out sometime and check it out and shoot a little bit if that's cool.

Are you enrolled this semester? I'm in Blacksburg and it would be cool to partner up for a shoot in the area sometime.

I'm assuming you keep a rifle with you.
 
Did yall get the property I would be interested in shooting out to 1k-1.5k sometime I dont have anything to shoot out past that much more since i am shooting a .308. but I would make the 3 hr drive a couple times a year. Let me know.
 
Is this still happening? Would love to shoot! I am up in Christiansburg, VA, so not far at all. Would be able to bring others as well. Shooting a 6.5 Grendel AR.
